History of Amy's

The Amy story began in 1946 when Ross Amy established one of Ontario's earliest custom tarp and awning service companies, at first serving limited local needs.

New services brought expansion under Ken Amy the current president. Today's core business consists of architectural signage and awning manufacturing produced in our modern central Ontario plant in Kitchener, near the 401 corridor.

Today's impressive client list is wide, encompassing signage programs for national accounts such as The Bay, Mr. Lube, KFC and McDonald's Restaurants to name a few.

Amy's continued to grow with the addition of Amy's Custom Welding over twenty years ago. This expansion established a partnership that takes each project from design, to installation, with Amy's exceptionally high standards.

Today's Amy group focuses on innovative design, featuring manufacturing skills in metal fabrication and fabric innovations.
